Derek’s 1968 Yenko Super Camaro Tribute

Built From The Ground Up

Derek’s 1968 Yenko Super Camaro Tribute

Derek Sabourin took an ash gold, base model Camaro with a 327 and transformed it into this! A 1968 Island Teal Yenko Super Camaro Tribute car with a 427 power plant. Derek used Ground Up SS396.com for a long long laundry list of parts to bring this project to reality.

It took Derek 2 years and 3 months to complete the car. It has a ZZ 427 Chevy crate motor, a 700R4 Transmission, Moser Engineering 12-bolt positraction rear-end, and headers from Stainless Works. As for Ground Up parts, Derek bought everything from sheet metal, to interior trim and electronics, and everything else in between!

"They have just about everything you need for a car like mine… and if they don’t have it, they can help you find it."

-Derek S
