New, replacement OEM wiring is not required if you already have wiring in your vehicle. Dakota Digital Instrumentation Systems include a central control box that contains the necessary wiring and senders for operation with your OEM harnesses. These systems also have the ability to add many expansion modules, sold separately. When installing an LS motor, the BIM-01-2 OBDII module is a necessary addition to the Dakota Digital kit.
