This 1970-1972 Monte Carlo upgraded disc brake conversion kit includes everything in our FM-1790AS kit, but comes with the Show Stopper upgrade, which features drilled and slotted rotors and a 8 inch chrome slimline power booster, as well as a chrome master cylinder and proportioning valve. This disc brake conversion kit allows you to convert your Monte Carlo from a four wheel drum setup to a disc front drum rear setup for dramatically increased stopping power and safety. This kit requires 15 inch diameter wheels or larger. It is recommended to use our disc brake conversion brake line kit as original brake lines will not work with this kit. See related products below. Most cars originally came with an 11 inch booster from the factory but 8 inch has better clearance for tall valve covers and braking performance is not affected.
