This is a pair of U46 fender mounted Vigilite headlight and signal light monitors. These chrome plated housing assemblies feature red and green indicators and a rubber gasket. The U46 Vigilite lamp monitoring system was a very rare option on various 1967 to 1969 Chevelles and mounts directly to the front fenders. These chrome plated bezels feature the thin mounting posts making them the early design. This RPO U46 light monitoring system uses fiber optic cables to display if the the headlights and turn signals are functioning properly.
