Thomas C’s 1966 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Thomas C’s 1966 Chevelle

Thomas’s younger brother Chris was helping him looking for a car. As it turned out one of his Chris coworkers Linda had a 1966 Chevelle for sale. Once he looked at it, he had to have it! And the price was reasonable at $1000.

The engine is a .060 over 396 with forger speed pro pistons, H-Beam rods, forged steel crankshaft, aluminum heads, Comp cams solid roller camshaft (.642 lift) roller rockers, and stud girdle.

The turbo 400 transmission was built by a friend Mark with a shift kit and 3500 stall convertor.

He has installed rear disc brakes with his grandson, a cowl hood, and had his friend custom wrap it.

Also installed

18″ Boss wheels with P245R4518 in front and P285R4018 in back.

QA1 upper and lower front control arms along with coil over shocks.

The rear end has upper QA1 tubular control arms and BMI lower tubular control arms.

He has a sound deadener, new carpet, B&M billet shifter, stainless gas tank with a new sending unit he is planning on installing.

"My experience has been very positive including the sales person I spoke with. The items I purchased were in stock and I received them quickly."
