Richard R’s 1972 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Richard R’s 1972 Chevelle

Richard actually found this Chevelle on Facebook in the Marketplace. He says he was just browsing to see what was around and came across this car. It just so happened to be local, too. The rest, as they say, is history.

Richard’s Chevelle is powered by a 350 backed up with a Turbo Hydrmatic 350 transmission.  He estimates the power to be around 325.

He did some nice suspension work to the car as well. Richard replaced the stock stamped steel control arms with some nice tubular pieces. He also upgraded to some coilovers at all four corners.

On Richard’s wish list is to one day to change his differential to a stronger 12-bolt with some 3:73 gears.
