Joe S’s 1968 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Joe S’s 1968 Chevelle

Yes, Joe’s ex-wife finally agreed to let him buy a classic car! He found this 1968 Chevelle partially restored and decided that once purchased, to do a complete restoration. Which took 4 years to complete.

It sits proudly in his garage today and sees quite a few car shows and weekend driving. It’s his baby. He had a few classics as a kid before he knew what he had. Now he knows and is happy to be the PROUD owner of this 1968 Chevelle.

It is a factory 138 code 1968 Chevelle SS, 4 speed, factory air, and quite a car. Every nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration with over 100 photos of the project. It has 396/350 Horsepower, an Edelbrock manifold, and Holley 650 CFM to replace the quadra jet the vehicle had.

The factory air and racing stripes really stand out.

Not currently but the plan is to keep it in as pristine a condition as he can. It has not seen the rain since the restoration which started on 11/2014 and was completed in Jan of 2019.

"Ground up SS 396 supplied MANY of the parts I needed to complete the project!!"

-Joe S
