In 2015, Ali spotted this 1964 Chevelle at his friend’s house along with a ’65 6 cylinder car. This Chevelle is all there, but it needs a total restoration.
He’s determined to bring this Chevelle back to original for his son Jacob, who is in the process of learning how to decode his ’64 Chevelle SS VIN from the Van Nuys, CA plant. This particular Chevelle is equipped with a 327 and a 4 speed manual.
It has always been Ali’s dream car as a kid and now it is a reality for himself and his son. They are diving headfirst into the restoration by purchasing reference books and downloading pdf files to compile a binder with all of the information they’ll need.
