GCCG Big Red
Fahad’s 1969 Camaro titled Big Red is one serious Camaro from an unlikely location. Hailing from Saudi Arabia this 1969 Camaro was intended to be something else entirely before seeing the original “Big Red” Camaro. Fahad says
“My Car is a 1969 Chevy Camaro SS/RS with special order paint trim tag code (- -) that was intended to have a frame off restoration to original condition. Afterwards I got influenced by the original Big Red Camaro and transformed my project to be customized (the GCCG Big RED)”
Fahad’s 1969 Camaro features a 396 ci. Big Block Mark IV Chevy V8 coupled with a GM TH400 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. In the rear this Camaro is running a Moser Engineering 12-Bolt GM Housing and Axle Package, Richmond Gear 3.55:1 Ratio Ring and Pinion Set, and Eaton Detroit Truetrac Limited Slip Differential.
For the interior Fahad stayed true to the Camaro’s original roots using Original Black Standard Bucket seats. To keep the car cool and more importantly quite Fahad used a Dynamic Control Sound Deadener Dynamat Xtreme Custom Cut Kit & a Vintage Air Gen-IV SureFit Air Conditioning Systems Complete Kit! To top this Camaro off and what gives the car its name is the stunning Torch Red paint coupled with Arctic White Stripes. Factory restoration was done with original restoration parts from Ground Up SS396.COM!
