Ron bought this car in very bad shape when he was just 16; now he’s 40 and still owns it. But it sat under a cover for 20 years until he finally got the urge and the means to restore it.
One thing led to another, and it turned into going as far as taking the body off the Chevelle and replacing or restoring every nut and bolt from bumper to bumper. The Chevelle got all sorts of new and updated parts like updated wiring, drivetrain and rear end, interior, coil over suspension, disc brakes, painted frame, etc, etc.
Ron’s Chevelle is powered by a 383 stroker with a newly installed UltraPort FiTech fuel injection with downdraft stacks and a TH350 transmission. Ron also did something different with the stripes; he did one wide stripe with a pinstripe outline.
Ron loves to take his Chevelle to whatever car shows he can. The car has won many trophies, he says. In the future, Ron would like to swap his transmission for one with overdrive.
