Dennis H’s 1969 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Dennis H’s 1969 Chevelle

This 1969 Chevelle was in the possession of Dennis’s wife’s friend as an ex-drag car that had been retired years ago.

It was her fiance’s car before he passed away, and now the car has found it’s way to Dennis as of a few years ago.

When Dennis was tearing the engine down, he came to the realization that it was a 454 big block bored .30 over. To compliment what he had, he installed a larger cam and a set of aluminum heads. A tunnel ram intake and twin 600 CFM Holley carbs top off the block. It runs the strip through a TH350 with 3000 RPM stall converter.

He hasn’t yet taken it to the strip with the new modifications as it’s winter in Michigan, but he can’t wait to find out what this 1969 Chevelle is really capable of at the track.

"Great parts and low prices"
