Rod S’s 1968 Camaro

Built From The Ground Up

Rod S’s 1968 Camaro

This 1968 Camaro was destined to be stripped down to race but Rod S couldn’t stand by and watch it be “destroyed’ so he saved it from that fate.

Shortly after acquiring the Camaro, Rod began the process of restoring it to stock in 1985, finally finishing the project in 2019. It was a labor of love and patience according to Rod.

This Camaro is painted in Merlot Jewel Metallic with white Z/28 stripes and a custom white leather interior. This RS/SS comes equipped with a 396/375 L78 with an Edelbrock intake and Carter carburetor, along with the M22 rock crusher Muncie 4-speed transmission.

“Had owned a 1969 Comaro while in college and just loved but liked the body style of the 1968 better”

Rod
