John M’s 1965 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

John M’s 1965 Chevelle

John came across a younger guy selling this 1965 Chevelle about 17 years ago, and it’s since been a long road to get it the way it looks today.

John’s juggled the Chevelle build as time allowed while supporting his wife and two kids along the way.

All work has been completed on the Chevelle by John, which includes all mechanicals, body and paintwork, interior, suspension, etc. Being a maintenance director, he takes pride in his handy skillset and the results of his work.

This 1965 Chevelle currently sports a 355 small block and TH350 transmission with a shift kit, Baer disc brakes, BMR suspension components, quick ratio steering, and a 4 core radiator with e-fans. His intent behind the project was to create a corner-carving restomod that he would build for himself to enjoy.

“It’s a lot harder to see a ‘65 Chevelle driving down the road. I love the stance and the cornering capabilities.”

John

He would like to add aftermarket air conditioning and power windows in the future to add a bit more modern comfort to his ride.

"I like the speed I receive my parts"

-John
