Stanley H’s 1966 Chevelle SS396

Built From The Ground Up

Stanley H’s 1966 Chevelle SS396

Local customer Stanley got this 1966 Chevelle as a birthday present from his wife on his 60th birthday.

“My wife bought me my high school dream car.”

Stanley

This Chevelle is a 396/350 hp L34 and was originally mated to a Powerglide, but Stanley has since swapped to a TH400 transmission. It is a factory air conditioning car, since it was originally sold in Florida.

He first fell in love with the ’66 models back when he was working at a gas station in the 1960s. They were the most popular car in the late ‘60s, but he couldn’t find one to purchase for himself so he settled for a 1967 model instead. Now he finally has the ’66 he’s always wanted.

"I find it very convenient because I’m only 25 minutes from Naugatuck. I would like to advertise like other cars I see with Ground Up SS396 on their windshield"

-Stanley H
