Roger V’s 1970 Chevelle SS454

Built From The Ground Up

Roger V’s 1970 Chevelle SS454

Roger purchased this 1970 Chevelle from a Mid-American Chevelle Club member back at a show in 2014 with the intent of restoring it, as it was just a shell as it arrived.

Luckily, the majority of the body work and the frame work had already been completed, simply needing to be prepped for paint.

This Chevelle did not include any powertrain or interior, but it did include suspension, which had been temporarily installed in order to move the car during the sale and transport. A date coded LS5 454 big block and M22 4-speed Muncie transmission were sourced to be the powertrain for the 1970 Chevelle.

This example came with many options from the factory that are seldom seen. This convertible came with factory air conditioning, power windows, tilt steering column, and even a power convertible top!
