Donnie E’s 1969 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Donnie E’s 1969 Chevelle

Donnie got this 1969 Chevelle in Sept 2013, north of Chicago.

Bertha is an all original panel car except for the Glasstech hood. The ’69 Chevelle is an original CA. car that has been a drag car for most of its life. With a 565 inch BBC by Foxwell Motorsports and SH 400 by Extreme Automatics transmission.

The car is painted Dark Red Mica in PPG Paint. To date, it has been 9.161 at 146.77 in the 1/4 and 5.76 at 119 in the 1/8 with a best 1.28. 60’ time with no power adders

The car does not look like a bottom 9-second ride. It took great pains to retain the OEM look of the car.

He plans to do a complete rewire and a parachute!

"Selection. Ease of finding what I’m looking for and price."
