Don G’s 1969 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Don G’s 1969 Chevelle

Back in 1999, Don’s 18 year old son came to him and said that he wanted a 1969 Chevelle.

After picking myself off the floor we started looking. You have to know he had shown no interest in classic cars before this.

Don G

The pair located this 1969 Chevelle, went to see it, and promptly bought it. They’ve since rebuilt the engine, which is the original 396/325hp big block. They decided to add a more radical cam, roller rockers, aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake and Holley 750 cfm carburetor. Exhaust is helped by a set of Hooker headers, and everything gets going through a TH400 transmission.

Fun to drive and show! It’s part of the family!
