Dave D’s 1971 El Camino

Built From The Ground Up

Dave D’s 1971 El Camino

This is a 66k original mile 1971 El Camino that Dave found for sale a few years ago. The seller had inherited it from their family member, and their restoration was already nearly complete with a few finishing touches needed.

Dave says that the El Camino is a pleasure to drive and handles better than new with the upgraded heavy duty sway bars. The 1971 El Camino is equipped with a slightly upgraded 350 small block and TH350 transmission.

“It’s my daily driver all summer, it’s smooth, comfortable and just fun to drive.”

Dave

Dave plans to slightly change and upgrade a few things about the previous owner’s modifications, including adding a tonneau cover and possibly changing the wheels and tires to something of his taste.
