Charles Q’s 1968 Camaro

Built From The Ground Up

Charles Q’s 1968 Camaro

Charles was talking to his wife one uneventful day when she told him he needed another hot rod. So he ran out and bought this 1968 Camaro before she changed her mind!

He hadn’t had a hot rod or muscle car for about 8 years, so she wasn’t going to be changing her mind anytime soon, but he figured he shouldn’t risk it anyway.

“true story. I have an awesome beautiful wife.”

This 1968 Camaro has a Dart 400 small block with Dart 2 aluminum heads, which put down 697 hp on the dyno. The transmission is a Monster built Super Sport TH400 and he also opted for a Moser M9 narrowed 9 inch rear end with 4.56 gears.

“The guy who owned it before me had it painted Budlight blue because he liked Budlight. LOL. It has the original interior with backseat on full tubs.”

The pair plan on attending the Ocean City Maryland 2021 cruises as well as various southern Maryland car shows during the season. There’s also the potential for a bit of drag racing at Maryland International Raceway.

"My experience was great and I found the items I wanted fast and a good price."
