Tom N’s 1970 Chevelle SS396 Tricentennial

Built From The Ground Up

Tom N’s 1970 Chevelle SS396 Tricentennial

Tom’s 1970 Chevelle SS is a bit more unique than the run of the mill ’70 that typically pops up.

This Tricentennial Chevelle is a special edition, only sold to dealers in South Carolina to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of Charleston, SC. Tom was shopping around for an authentic car a few years ago and this example popped up.

Even better, this 1970 Chevelle is equipped with the L34 396/350hp big block along with a TH400 transmission. Every Tricentennial has a special gold-metallic paint ZP3 along with paint matched SS mag wheels. It also has virtually every piece of documentation one could desire to authenticate it, from the original invoice, protect-o-plate, build sheets, other original owner documents, etc.
