Robert W’s 1970 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Robert W’s 1970 Chevelle

Robert’s first car was a 1970 Chevelle in Cortez Silver. He always wanted an LS6 version of his first ride, and 25 years later he finally got that version.

He had a friend that owned a Chevelle that was partially restored, no motor or transmission however. Robert traded a 1967 Camaro project and cash for the Chevelle and began to tear into it to create his high school dream car.

He sourced a Summit crate engine, a 454 big block rated at 520 hp matched up to a TH400 transmission and a 12 bolt rear end with 3.23 gearing. Every nut and bolt on the Chevelle has been replaced with new hardware. Other modifications include a Vintage Air system and coilovers which lower the Chevelle 2 inches. This Chevelle was built to be driven as Robert puts it.

Now that he had his dream 1970 Chevelle, Robert plans on cruising with it whenever he can as well as attending local car shows.

"great, Fast shipping I'm close in new jersey"
