Pete C’s 1967 Chevelle Malibu

Built From The Ground Up

Pete C’s 1967 Chevelle Malibu

Pete C picked up this 1967 Chevelle in response to regret over selling off the 1966 Chevelle he used to own during high school.

That proved to be a decision that would stick with him for years, and his love for Chevelles would continue to grow greater over time.

About five years ago, Pete found this ’67 Chevelle on Craigslist and it triggered something within that would fill the void left by his old ’66 Chevelle. This ’67 Chevelle Malibu is another original example with around 84,000 original miles on the odometer. It seems to have never been modified, as the 283ci small block V8 and Powerglide transmission combo would indicate.

The slight patina to the original paint lends this Chevelle Malibu an air of character that a freshly restored example just can’t capture. Pete wants to keep this ’67 as untouched as possible, but he realizes that some upgrades need to be undertaken to make it safer on today’s roads.
