Derall A’s 1966 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Derall A’s 1966 Chevelle

A friend of Derall’s received this 1966 Chevelle in bits and pieces as part of a sale he brokered, and then sold it to Derall after getting it back up to running condition.

Derall wasted no time in putting his own personal touches into the car. He acquired a Blueprint 383 stroker crate engine to transplant into the Chevelle, dyno’d at about 450 horsepower. It was mated to a 4 speed Muncie M20 transmission being shifted by a Hurst Competition Plus shifter.

The stroker breathes through long tube headers which connect to Flowmaster 2-1/2 inch dual exhaust. Fuel is provided by a Holley Sniper EFI system paired with a Holley Dual Sync Distributor tuned by MadScienceMotorSports of Houston, TX.

The exterior of the car received SS badges, along with the SS hood and interior with bucket seats and center console. This Chevelle is painted in Marina Blue which is offset by the fresh black interior. Dakota Digital gauges provide the needed instrumentation.
