This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle was Bob’s first car, which he got in 1983 when he was 15. He has gone through 4 engines, 3 transmissions, and 2 frames before this final build!
The engine is a crate 408cid 595hp LSX from Blue Print. It has a Gearstar 4L80E transmission attached to it, and it is all linked to a Ford 9″ with 3.73 gears and an Eaton True trac diff. So it is a powerful, yet reliable package. The braking duties are handled by Baer discs at all four corners, and this all sits on an Art Morrison chassis.
Bob’s wife let him remortgage their house to build it, and while it is basically done, he does have a few things he would like to do in the future. Bob would like to upgrade the interior to leather and add some sort of paddle shift setup.
Great looking 1969 Chevelle, Bob, enjoy it!
