To place an order with Ground Up, Inc. simply phone, fax, mail, email, or shop online. Experienced classic part specialists are standing by to handle your order and provide assistance online and over the phone whenever possible. Orders are shipped daily Monday through Friday!

Product Information

Kit Products

All Parts and Accessories catalogs and include kits that contain a variety of products to guarantee you’re getting the best deal around. Most of these kits items are exclusive to Ground Up, Inc. and thus cannot be price matched against our competitor’s kits.

On occasion, we may run out of an item supplied with a kit. If this happens we will generally ship what is in stock and backorder the item(s) which are not in stock. You may contact our sales department by phone to verify which items are not in stock at the time the order is placed. The customer may decide whether to accept the partial kit or have the entire kit back-ordered until the kit is ready to ship complete. If the customer decides to accept partial delivery of the kit, then the full price of the kit will be charged to the customer and back-ordered items will be shipped at no additional charge when they return to stock at our warehouse. Customers will be charged the appropriate freight fees when applicable.

Rights & Lefts

Some items in our print catalog and online are presented as right-side or left-side products. Right-sides or left-sides are determined by sitting in the vehicle, not standing in front of the vehicle.

Color Matches

Due to multiple manufacturers of products Ground Up, Inc. provides, color variations may occur. Slight color variations are common especially amongst interior products and do not constitute a defect. These products are not eligible for return for this reason.

Due to variances among computer monitors the colors that appear on your screen may differ slightly from the actual color of the product. If exact color matching on interior items is a concern, please request free samples before ordering. Returns on colored interior items will be subject to a restocking fee.

Product Availability

The availability of all items on and in our print catalogs are subject to change without notice. Ground Up, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue products, services or accessories, and/or substitute products of a similar nature (i.e. different manufacturers) without notice. currently doesn’t offer a live inventory online. Due to this, items ordered online may be out of stock when the order is processed. If this is the case a backorder notice will be sent to the email on file within 1 business day. If you’re concerned about the availability of items in your cart please contact a customer service representative or email us with a list of the parts in your cart.

Oversize and Overweight Parts

All items which are considered “OS” (oversize) are items that can be shipped via UPS ground, however at an oversize rate indicating a minimum fee of 30 lbs. or 70 lbs. depending on the item.

Boxes shipped that are 84″-108″ width and girth are considered single oversize items and are charged at a minimum rate of 30 lbs. per box.

Double oversize boxes are over 108″-130″ width and girth and are charged at a rate of 70 lbs.

Single or double oversize items which weigh more than the minimum weight will be charged in accordance with their actual weight. There may be products listed in this catalog which are oversized but are not indicated as such online or in our catalogs.

Ground Up, Inc. reserves the right to charge an O/S fee on any order which contains a product that is oversized even though it may not be indicated online or in the catalog.

Back Orders

The invoice located in the packing slip or inside the packaging of your order will notate any items that were out of stock at the time of shipping. Unavailable items will be back-ordered unless otherwise specified on your order form or verbally to a sales representative when placing your order by phone. Backorders are usually shipped when the products return to stock at our warehouse without prior notification. Ground Up, Inc. will make an effort to contact the customer if the backorder is more than 30 days old.

If you wish to cancel a back-ordered item, please notify our customer service department immediately. The customer will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee and any additional freight charges if the backorder is canceled or returned after the items are shipped.

Product Pricing

Ground Up, Inc. makes every effort to honor the prices contained online and in our print catalogs. However, due to the increased costs of manufacturing, materials, etc., prices can change. MAP Pricing

MAP Pricing or Minimum Advertised Pricing is a set price by manufacturers of what their products or product lines can be advertised for. Many manufacturers have adopted this pricing structure as it creates a level playing field for all resellers while not devaluing their product offerings. It should be noted that products that have MAP pricing can not be price matched as any lower advertised price will be in violation of that manufacturer’s MAP Policies and will have to be reported.
