Peter V’s 1969 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Peter V’s 1969 Chevelle

In 2018 Peter bought this 1969 Chevelle sight unseen from Texas and had it delivered to his home south of Boston.

This Chevelle is mostly a faithful factory restoration; it does not have the original engine but it is an original factory air conditioning car. Currently, it is equipped with a 396/325 horsepower L35 big block along with a TH400 transmission.

Other notable equipment and options on Peter’s Chevelle are the Hugger Orange paint, bucket seats and center console, power disc brakes and power steering. Peter has even upgraded the power steering with a quick ratio box from Ground Up SS396.com.

“I changed the steering box to a quick ratio and what a difference it made!”

Peter V

Overall this 1969 Chevelle is in beautiful condition and in the short time he’s owned it, Peter has even taken 2nd place at a local classic car show.

“#1… it’s a convertible… #2 I graduated high school in 1968 and always loved Chevelles”
