1967-1972 El Camino Detroit Speed Tubular Control Arm & Forged Spindle Kit 030105

Detroit Speed and Engineering's tubular control arm and forged spindle kit is designed to work as an integrated system on your pro touring El Camino. The DSE spindle is 1-1/2 inches taller than the stock El Camino spindle and provides 2 inches of drop from stock height. The taller spindle height improves handling by modifying the camber curve resulting in a negative camber gain during suspension compression. The stock steer arms mount in the optimal location to minimize bump steer. Detroit Speed's tubular upper control arms provide increased strength and additional positive caster. DSE's lower tubular control arms feature a robust tubular design with gussets and a cross brace. Uppers and lowers feature five axis laser cut tube ends and ball joint pockets for a precise fit. These control arms are TIG welded in fixtures to guarantee geometric accuracy and repeatability. All control arms feature Delrin bushings, new ball joints, and a gloss black powdercoat finish. These are serious suspension pieces which are perfect for building your pro-touring El Camino or when you simply want your stock El Camino to handle better up front.
