It was in a yard with a for sale sign on it. He decided while heading back home that he would stop to check it out and to see how much it was.<\/h2><p>The 1974 Monte Carlo was in good shape and it ran ok too! That was about 18 years ago and the seller wanted $1200 for it.<\/p><p>William rebuilt a 350 bored.030 over with a special cam and roller rockers that he obtained from a friend. Then, another friend gave him a crank with rods and .030 over pistons. He recently put in a 4sd manual transmission and a posi.<\/p><p>Finally, he eliminated the landau (opera) windows and the turn signals. He now has the signal lights in the head lights.
