Phillips grandpa had 3 El Camino’s when he was growing up, so that is how he fell in love with El Caminos. It brings back memories of his grandpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 1981 El Camino he got was a stock 305 engine with over 300,000 miles on it. The lower end was going out, and it was leaking oil, so he took it to the shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had a brand new 305 put in it. It has close to 2500 miles on the new motor, and it runs great now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wheels he has on the car are hard to find and also make it stand out! Even though it needs a paint job, people still tell him how much they like the car!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
