Gerald bought this 1970 Chevelle as a driver in 2006. That fall he took it to a friend with a body shop and performed a complete body restore.<\/h2>\n\n

They worked every night after work and every weekend for eight months. Completed new quarters, patched lower doors and fenders. Also upper windshield, and rear window frameset.<\/p>\n\n

All body gaps to a paint stick thickness and has crisp straight body lines. Primed and sanded the whole car three times, sealed, and painted with Midnight Blue Pearl with white stripes. Then sprayed seven coats of clear coat. They then wet sanded and buffed to get all stripe lines flat and glazed all in eight months.<\/p>\n\n

The 1970 Chevelle has a Chevy 454 punched and stroked to a 505. AFR aluminum heads, COMP roller cam, lifters and rocker arms, Winters LS6 low rise intake, Holley<\/a> Terminator Stealth EFI, and Milodon seven quart oil pan. Center Force clutch, Lakewood<\/a> scatter shield, and Tremec TKO600.<\/p>\n\n

He has maintained stock appearance while still using updated performance parts.
