It\u2019s a real 454 SS 4 speed example. It is basically the twin to Garth and his wife\u2019s old &#8217;70 Chevelle SS that they had when first married.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u2019s been diligently getting the triple black El Camino into top form since bringing it home, rebuilding the engine and transmission and replacing a lot of interior parts with new reproductions. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ss396.com\/category\/elcamino-vintageair.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Vintage Air<\/a> has been added as well. The exterior has had some paint touched up and buffing\/cleaning, along with new bright trim to match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As much as Garth and his wife like this El Camino, they don\u2019t intend to keep it forever, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe bought this one to refurbish it and then find someone else to love it.
