The build took about 3 years, but the El Camino wound up with a 502ci\/502hp engine, twin carbureted with 1955 headers. There\u2019s a beefed up Turbo 350 trans with a shift kit and a 2800 RPM stall converter putting those 502 ponies to the pavement.
