It was sitting at a very small service station when it caught Tony\u2019s eye.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1968 Nova was essentially done and fully restored. He would go on to purchase this Nova from the third owner and still owns it to this day. Tony\u2019s only made some minor alterations such as some \u201cDay 2\u201d modifications to this 1968 Nova SS L48 car, and it only has 35k original miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drivetrain is a small block 350 making about 400 horsepower. It has 202 heads, a mild cam, Torker intake, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ss396.com\/category\/nova-holley.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Holley<\/a> 750 CFM carburetor to achieve that result. Power is shifted via a numbers matching Muncie 4-speed, which Tony believes to be an M22 \u201crock crusher\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Future plans include a fresh set of new brakes on all four corners, as well as a new exhaust.
