Not only were there few 1967 Chevelle 300 Deluxe models produced for the year, about 2400 in total, but a very small amount of those were equipped with the often forgotten 283 small block. As the 300 Deluxe occupied the budget tier of Chevelle models, most were produced with one of the available inline 6 cylinder engines. This would help reinforce the \u201cgrocery getter\u201d image that this trim level garnered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kurt was eager to restore the Chevelle and he undertook the process, finishing in under a year\u2019s time. It received a fresh coat of the factory Nantucket Blue paint from Basic Body and Paint of Chalmers, Indiana and Kurt spruced up the interior to match the exterior\u2019s new condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
