Dave\u2019s father bought this \u201969 El Camino brand new and it\u2019s been in the family ever since. Dave himself owned a \u201971 model, so it was only natural for his father to pass it along to him when he was done with it in 1981.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since day 1 in Dave\u2019s possession it has always been a \u201cproject\u201d. He was the one to bring it over the 500k mark and decided to retire the old workhorse for a while. It\u2019s sat for about 20 years while he waited for his own son to want to start a resto-mod project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
