He acquired a Blueprint 383 stroker crate engine to transplant into the Chevelle, dyno&#8217;d at about 450 horsepower. It was mated to a 4 speed Muncie M20 transmission being shifted by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ss396.com\/category\/chevelle-hurst.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Hurst<\/a> Competition Plus shifter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stroker breathes through long tube headers which connect to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ss396.com\/category\/chevelle-flowmaster.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Flowmaster<\/a> 2-1\/2 inch dual exhaust. Fuel is provided by a Holley Sniper EFI system paired with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ss396.com\/category\/chevelle-holley.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Holley<\/a> Dual Sync Distributor tuned by MadScienceMotorSports of Houston, TX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exterior of the car received SS badges, along with the SS hood and interior with bucket seats and center console.
