Job Description

Ground Up, Inc. is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to assist in day-to-day operations. As a Human Resources manager with Ground Up, Inc. you will be part of an exceptional team committed to caring for our customers, handling daily tasks, and helping us grow our business.

The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in driving HR solutions, enhancing company culture, and identifying employee needs.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner effectively with employees, managers, and corporate contacts to handle general HR demands
  • Develop recruitment strategies and recruit for all positions in the facility & remotely
  • Manage the onboarding process for newly hired employees and maintain personnel files
  • Oversee performance reviews and conduct exit interviews to help improve employee relations
  • Strategically manage employee development and improvement plans including goal development, coaching, training, incentives, and recognition
  • Administer time and attendance programs for all employees at the facility & remotely 
  • Create, improve, and administer human resource policies and procedures
  • Benefit and payroll administration
  • Office administration including ordering all office supplies and maintaining office equipment
  • Tracking and adhering to department budget
  • Keeping current with all local, state, and federal mandates and compliance and maintain detailed records 

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of Human Resources experience in a warehouse environment (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Preferred)
  • Experience with hourly recruiting, employee relations and engagement, benefits administration, payroll, policy communication and administration, HR/corporate compliance, etc.
  • Educated with all local, state, and federal mandates and compliance

Job Description 

Ground Up, Inc. is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping Manager to assist in day-to-day operations. As a Warehouse Shipping Manager with Ground Up, Inc. you will be part of an exceptional team committed to caring for our customers, handling daily tasks, and helping us grow our business. 

The Shipping Manager will play a key role in the oversight of fulfillment operations, scheduling outbound shipments, pick, pack, and order fulfillment metrics and goals, enhancing picking and packing processes, and identifying bottlenecks and potential issues. You will work closely with other managers to optimize warehouse processes and enhance order fulfillment rates.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Managing and scheduling a team of pickers and packers 
  • Oversee and assist with outbound shipments 
  • Creating and distributing order picking batches by location and line items 
  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and shipping services 
  • Preparing and overseeing outbound shipments 
  • Reviewing and reporting outbound shipment discrepancies 
  • Maintain quality service by following and optimizing organization standards 
  • Maintain safe and clean work environments by keeping workstations neat and complying with procedures, polices, and regulations 
  • Contribute to the team’s effort to increase productivity and thruput 
  • Order supplies needed for the picking and packing department 
  • Tracking and adhering to department budget 
  • Inventory, cycle counts, and quality control 
  • Manage time constraints, deadlines, multiple priorities, and a team of pickers and packers 
  • Tracking key picking and packing metrics and holding performance review 

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior Warehouse Work experience (Required) 
  • Strong computer skills (Required) 
  • Familiarity with UPS, USPS, and LTL services 
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred) 
  • Florida forklift training and certification (Preferred)

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships within all areas of the company
