By utilizing DSE's proven components, DSE Speed Kits suits your driving needs with the ease of a bolt on package. Speed Kit 1 is designed to bring your classic El Camino or A-body into the 21st century with improvements in ride, handling, and camber/caster correction. This El Camino pro touring Speed Kit 1 includes (2) tubular upper control arms, (2) tubular lower control arms, (2) DSE forged 2 inch dropped spindles, (2) Koni Classic front shock absorbers, (2) coil springs with increased spring rate, and (1) DSE tubular sway bar kit. You will notice drastic handling improvements. Perfect for your stocker or when building a pro-touring El Camino! Part Notes:
When using stock disc brakes, the stock caliper brackets will have to be notched slightly to fit the DSE spindles. The sway bar in this kit is a direct bolt on for 1968-1972 A-body models. The existing sway bar mounting holes will need to be drilled and tapped to 3/8 inch on 1964, 1965, 1966, and 1967 El Camino A-body models. Part Applications:
