It mounts to the floor and with much of the body below the floor to clear factory consoles. The shifter is set up for both the 3 speed TH350/TH400 transmissions or the GM overdrive transmissions like the 700-R4, 200-4R, 4L60, 4L65, and the 4L80. The shifter is complete with neutral safety/back up switch, and factory-like reverse lock out and detents for each gear. Also includes a universal floor mounting bracket kit. Part Notes: This kit requires a shift cable sold separately. Most applications use a 30 inch cable; however, depending on installation the required cable length may vary. Drilling and cutting of the floor will be required.
