Part Description:
Detroit Speed and Engineering's tubular Chevelle sway bar kit offers multiple advantages over the stock rear bar. First, unlike the factory A body sway bar, DSE's rear sway bar attaches to the rear end housing and to the chassis crossmember as opposed to the stock lower control arm mounted bar. By using the chassis to stabilize the rear axle as opposed to the stock lower control arm, deflection is minimized as the car is placed under a heavy cornering load. Secondly, DSE's sway bar mounts to the chassis with their patented Swivel Links allowing free articulation of the bar, eliminating binding through the range of the rear suspension travel. This sway bar is made of 1 1/8 inch tubular chromoly steel for added strength. Comes powdercoated in a high gloss black finish with all necessary mounting hardware. Part Notes:
