THE FIRST L89?
Chris’ 1968 Nova SS396 L78

This 1968 is a neat car because it was produced in the same run as the Dick Harrell and Fred Gibb cars, 375hp/396. The original owner ordered it with aluminum heads and water pump (which became the L-89 option offered in 1969). Is it the first one? Who knows but it is a rare bird indeed. Chris has been after the original owner to part with the window sticker and protecto-plate for some time now but no luck yet.
